Mask series produced in 2021. A self-portrait expresses the contradictory feelings of feeling suffocated and at the same time feeling relieved by covering a human face, which is supposed to be bare. The motif is a self-portrait of the artist wearing an actual headgear. In today's world where most of the face is covered, how do we humans recognize others? What kind of expression do you have under the covered cloth? Through his work, he poses new questions that emerged in the 2020s.
