STORY


Nice to meet you, I'm Onoda, the manager of MONOLiTH .
It's going to be a little long, but let me introduce the thoughts that led to starting MONOLiTH .

Currently, the reason for purchasing art is “purchasing as an interior”,
There are two main types of “purchase as an investment target” .
" Art is what opens up life"
I wanted to establish this new value .

The reason I thought so was that through my own encounter with art,
Realizing that you can change your life in a positive direction, such as taking on challenges .
The works of artists who continue to challenge themselves while struggling to express themselves ,
It has a mysterious power that moves what it sees .




I want to try new things but I 'm worried,
I want to deliver the power of art to those who want to boost their lives more .

In the end it 's up to you to do it or not .
Still, art gives me the courage and strength to take on new challenges,
I think it would be great if more people could achieve self-actualization .

And more and more people buy art with that kind of feeling ,
Japan's art market is getting bigger,
It would be great if there were more good works of art .

Origin of MONOLiTH

Appearing in the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey" directed by Stanley Kubrick .
It is derived from a large black plate-shaped rock monolith that "grows the human spirit and intelligence " .

I decided on this name because it matches the value of art that I think .
