<A word from the staff>
Momo Hoshitani creates works with the theme of "feelings only because we are alive". She is an award-winning artist at the young artist festival "Unkwon Asia", and is also a mother of one child. Based in Osaka.
Her works are drawn with pencils and oil pastels, and the emphasis is on naturalness. In particular, the pencil part is drawn so elaborately that it looks like a photograph, and every work is astonishing.
This work, which has an impressive blue color, has a motif of a blindfolded woman. I wondered if I had drawn "a figure that moves forward even when I can't see anything", and I arbitrarily superimposed it on myself. This is a piece that I would like you to pick up by all means for those who work hard at what is in front of them.
Of course, it can be displayed immediately after it arrives without a frame, and it looks great even if it is framed in a white frame.
