<Story of the work>

There are moments when I see people's faces as something else. That was the moment when I was able to confront the pure curiosity and creative urge that lie within me, and successfully forget about reality and even my own existence.

By completely covering a person's face with a flower mask, the essential life (energy) of human beings that cannot be felt due to facial expressions and each story are reflected in the photograph.

Using all fresh flowers, the headpiece expresses the fragility and strength of women, the delicate and explosive energy and affection, and the love of my own creation.

<A word from the staff>
Kyoto-born artist Ayumi Aerial creates headpieces using fresh flowers and paper. Ayumi Aerial's own love for creation is included in the work created with the theme of "feminine charm such as explosive energy and love hidden in the fragility and strength of women" and "flowers". It has a strong yet delicate feel to it.
